FAIRMONT COPLEY PLAZA WEDDING PHOTOS – KIM AND DALLAS

I had the fantastic opportunity to shoot for the wonderfully talented New England wedding photographer Liesl Clark, owner and lead photographer of Claris photography, for Kim and Dallas’ wedding day at the Fairmont Copley Plaza and their ceremony at St Cecilia’s Church in the heart of Boston. I hope you enjoy looking through these Fairmont Copley Plaza wedding pictures and reading a little about their day.

I started off with the gents in the lobby of the Fairmont Copley Plaza to get shots of all the guys together, while Liesl was shooting with the girls upstairs. Dallas and the rest of the groomsmen were really great fun to work with and shooting at the Fairmont Copley is a real pleasure. The guys and all the guests were leaving from Copley on trolleys to St Cecilia’s Church and once we got there we had the chance to get a few more shots of all the guys together as well as a couple of Dallas looking rather sharp as well.

The ceremony at St Cecilia’s was fantastic and Dallas and Kim had a great many friends and family attend. This church in the heart of Boston is a truly wonderful place to celebrate your New England wedding day and it was great to be a part of Kim and Dallas’ day here and get them some really great shots.

After the ceremony we headed back to the Fairmont Hotel in Copley, only a short hop on the trolley. The room for the cocktail hour at the Fairmont hotel is wonderfully regal place and hints at what lies next door in the beautiful dinning room.  Kim and Dallas’ New England wedding day celebrations and festivities were held in the main ballroom at the Fairmont. This was the first time that I had photographed a wedding at the Fairmont  Copley Plaza Hotel in Boston and it was a wonderful location to shoot at. The up-lighting in the main ballroom and the sheer size of it make it a wonderful spectacle to view.

Before Kim and Dallas came in for the cocktail hour and the rest of the evening I had the chance to get some portraits with the two of them in their room after they freshened up post ceremony. It was a hot day and I think they enjoyed the chance to have a break in the AC before heading back down to catch up with their friends and family.

The evening celebrations were wonderful and the Fairmont in Copley Square is really a perfect setting for celebrating your Boston wedding day right in the very heart of the city.
